HPBT

This is a genuine NATO caliber bullet. This version is the HPBT (Hollow Point Boat Tail). The lead is fully encapsulated making this aggressive little bullet suitable for use as a talisman.  51mm refers to the cartridge length which is NATO standard and is the caliber most commonly used as machine gun ammunition.

7.62 engraved bullet

The bullet is diamond engraved. It is lead filled, covered with a brass (high copper content) Metal Jacket. The pores in the copper surface are filled with a coating to slow down tarnishing, this allows you to bring them back to full shine with a little metal polish. Be aware though... it will tarnish and need polishing if worn regularly. Bullets, however, with a base ring are clear coated to stop tarnishing. If the coating wears away and the bullet needs polishing or recoating read FAQs. Bullet metal is slightly ductile, if you hit it hard enough it will dent, and it will wear if subject to prolongued abrassion. Copper is more suitable than silver for harsh use i.e. keyring as it can be engraved far deeper. For a harder longer lasting bullet, the gold plated version is the answer.

If selected when buying, a matching base ring and metal jump ring is attached to the base of your bullet. If the bullet is a gift, why not make it even more personal with an engraved presentation box for only £2
